ETHOS DJs severely attracted by the punk-rock ethos and the limelight of dance music, the guys from Cassette records felt the missing link between these genres was lost somewhere between the past and the future. Their aim with Cassette, new record label based in London is to gather their rich influences from the past and elsewhere in order to re-construct those bridges between punk-rock and dance music, between electronic production and live recording, between behavioural anarchy and robotic attitude. Pushed by their fond interest in pop culture and art, Cassette will show its fierce independence and fondness for DIY by releasing homemade music in hand-made sleeve. |
